If you are stressed out by modern life or have a health condition which needs dietary help, have had life changes thrust on you such as bereavement or loneliness or want to make your life more interesting, then this is the course for you.

The 5 week course will cover diet, nutrition, what is in our food, life style - making changes or moving forward in life, improving self-confidence, mindfulness (living in the moment) dealing with stress and relaxation techniques. (Please note although we can look at how to help health conditions in general, we cannot give medical advice) Course Tutor,Simone Howard is a qualified Nutritional Therapist, chef, life coach and stress therapist and has been an Adult Education Tutor for over 20 years.

The Meeting will be attended by our local District Police Commander,  Chief Inspector Robert Mitchell and by members of our local Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Neighbourhood  Watch  is  all  about  "caring  in  the community",  and  helping  yourselves,  and  others,  to keep informed and to feel and stay safe.  Neighbourhood Watch also provides extra eyes and ears for our local Police - something especially important in these “austere times”.

The Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10:15am to 2.15pm. Meetings start with coffee and an opportunity to meet and greet other members, followed by a short introduction by the chairman covering recent and future events. This is followed by the talk by the invited speaker. After the talk, we retire to the bar before sitting down to a 2 course meal with coffee. The meeting usually ends around 2.15
